Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Pastoral Support Team as Pastoral Support Manager to cover a period of maternity leave.

The successful candidate should have direct experience of navigating complex pastoral situations and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.  They will take a lead in planning and delivering  support strategies for all ministries personnel and co-lead on Ascend [centre for support and development].  The Pastoral Support Manager will have oversight of Pastoral Support Officers engaged in providing pastoral support and will play a key role in responding to pastoral need and resourcing the development of services offered at local, regional and national levels.

Applicants are required to have a Christian commitment with a live church connection which is a Genuine Occupational Requirement in terms of the Equality Act 2010.
