Minister to Israel and Palestine launches video blog

Kate Reynolds

The Rev Kate Reynolds has launched her new video blog, which invites us into her life as the new Associate Minister at St Andrew's Scots Memorial Church, Jerusalem and St Andrew's Church of Scotland, Tiberias.

As she settles into her new role, she says serving the Church as a minister for Israel and Palestine is very different to visiting the region.

"After three months I'm realising just how much I have to learn about the situation here," Kate says in the video. "It's been a steep learning curve."

"There's a lot for me to learn, a lot for me to explore."

Kate's role is incredibly diverse and includes leading worship and ministering to the congregation at St Andrews Church, Tiberias, providing pastoral support to staff and visitors to the Scots Hotel Tiberias, sitting on the board of the Tabeetha School and developing relationships with organisations working for peace and justice in the land.

In her first video blog Kate shows us where she lives and takes us along with her as she visits Bethlehem. Kate plans to continue her video blog throughout her time in Jerusalem and Tiberias. You can follow her exploits at the Tomorrow's Calling website
