The Church of Scotland connects with people and communities across Scotland and the world, spreading the message of the Gospels and the word of God, and playing an important role in people's lives.

Our local churches play a key role in this among their communities, and the Church supports them in several ways. It provides leadership development to help congregations learn and move deeper into their knowledge and experience of God.

The Church works ecumenically with other faiths and Christian denominations, and reaches out to different communities through such initiatives as Priority Areas.
