Family Ministry Unpacked
Equipping you to take practical steps to develop family ministry.
About this event
This four-session training course will explore practical aspects of strengthening and deepening our ministry and connection with families. It will also explore key principles that underpin different expressions of family ministry. This will encourage a missional and strategic approach to effective ministry to families in your communities. Participants will have the opportunity to think through approaches and practice that might suit their different contexts.
This series explores the topics below. It also considers the various influences that have had an impact more recently and how these might begin to shape our ministry for the future, such as digital engagement and the effects of the pandemic.
The four sessions will take place on Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm.
- 17 November: Biblical, Historical & Contemporary Contexts of Family Ministry
- 24 November: The context of Family Life, relationships and wellbeing
- 1 December: Encouraging Church in Family Ministry and Intergenerational relationships
- 8 December: Faith at Home
