The Church has welcomed a new Scottish Government strategy to tackle social isolation and loneliness.
Members of the Scottish Parliament debated the issue this afternoon and the Church and Society Council said it is acutely aware of the increasing demographic within society who are isolated.
Narrator, Calum Strang of the Church and Society Council, explains the Church's perspective on the issue and provides some examples of how the Kirk is reaching out to support people in need.
