A prayer for the third Sunday in Advent by Rev Sang Cha

An Advent prayer by Rev Sang Cha, minister of St Mungo's Parish Church in Alloa, as we mark the third Sunday of Advent.
Salvation Eternal
You came to us as the Eternal Light
Lux Aeterna.
Your Light confounds us
Still.
How you come to us
That you come to us
Crucified
To be.
Where have all the flowers gone
Long time passing.
So has Peter.
He saw the world upside down
Because he loved a baby.
The Baby. Le Bébé.
Little Baby Boy, Peter loved you more than life itself.
O Flower of Scotland
Because of you
We have a world
Before you
After you
Two different worlds but the same one
And Beyond
Splendour.
Our spirit cannot be broken
For it is already broken
Broken because it is holy
Holy because it is broken
For you are our
Unsettling Magnificat
A broken heart is
An open heart.
So it is true
When I am weak then I am strong.
So it is true
We love because He loved us first.
So it is trueNemo me impune lacessit*
Nemo ergo te impune lacessit.**
This Christ Child lived in His heart
An awful big place to live.
Swaddled disarmed Saviour
You stole my heart.
Little Baby Boy
You stole our hearts.
For you are the beginning
For you are the end.
As we sing imperfectly awaiting your arrival once more
May we get some of the notes right imperfectly.
May Joyeux Noël, through your grace, never end.
Always and Again.
AMEN
