Looking for an exciting opportunity to work within International Development overseas? The Central Church of Africa Presbyterian, Livingstonia Synod, Malawi is looking for a dynamic individual who can help galvanise resources to move their programme forward.
The Church and Society Programme was established in 1999 as an advocacy desk of the Synod on issues of human rights, governance and democracy. Over time, the Programme has streamlined HIV and AIDs and gender into its activities.
The Church and Society Programme seeks to contribute to the creation of a vibrant and God fearing society that upholds the fundamental principles of human rights, good governance, co-existence and democracy. It seeks to promote the rule of law and access to justice in Malawi.
To apply for this unique position you must have excellent communication skills with sound financial literacy as you will manage the resource mobilisation strategies in relation to the activities of CSP, major donors, community groups and individuals in order to secure funds of diverse resources by building relationships and influencing relevant donors while working closely with the Executive Director and other staff members.
Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject you must have fundraising experience along with a proven record of writing successful narrative applications aligning with planning and monitoring tools, budgets and writing donor reports.
Applicants are required to be a committed Christian, with a live church connection (This is a Genuine Occupational Requirement in terms of the Equality Act 2010.)
