Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Web Editor to work as part of the Church of Scotland's communications team. This post will be responsible for planning, creating and editing digital content to maximise the user experience and enhance the Church's online presence.

The post-holder will be joining us during a period of radical organisational change as the Church moves to better equip local churches to serve parishes. As part of this plan, the communications team are embarking on a major overhaul of the website to ensure it effectively reflects the Church of Scotland's activities.

The successful candidate will have a track record of excellent client service, developing strong working relationships with others and influencing key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to ensure the delivery of excellent web content. They will provide expert support and advice on a broad range of digital communication issues. As well as a strong attention to detail, and the ability to produce engaging online content you will have sound knowledge of HTML and experience in using content management systems.
