Leaving a lasting legacy
How can your legacy make a difference to the Church?
Your legacy can make a difference to your local congregation in the following ways:
- Re-ordering a church interior to allow flexible worship
- Employment of a youth worker for three years
- Resourcing Christian education or outreach
- Audio-visual equipment to enhance worship.
Legacies also make a big difference to the wider work of the Church. These are the different areas of work your legacy could support:
- Social Care (CrossReach)
- Ministries
- World Mission
- General Trustees
- Pension Funds
- Housing and Loan.
Any unspecified legacies will be applied where the need is greatest. Legacies received are published monthly in Life and Work.
